Instructions

Give each student a card like this one to keep nearby while they work.

During the class period, signal to students to stop and check in with themselves. Have them write the time and check the column that best applies to how well they think they are focusing/staying on task
-
Ask students to share with a partner why they rated themselves the way they did
-
Resume working until you signal another check-in
Modifications:
* Use the same format to monitor another executive function skill that your students need
